BHASKAR SRIVASTAVA | AIA LEED

DESIGN PRINCIPAL

Founded by Bhaskar Srivastava, dencityworks has access to 20 years of his extensive architecture experience.  A member of the American Institute of Architects, he has directed design on numerous well known high rise and mixed-use developments in New York City, Seattle & the Middle East.  Sought after by top real estate companies in New York City, Bhaskar's work bridges creativity, clarity & value creation with functional & structural rationality.

Bhaskar has worked in close collaboration with renowned consulting firms such as AECOM, Arup, Cosentini, AKF, Dagher, Ettinger, Vidaris, WSP; premier marketing groups including CORE, Corcoran Sunshine, Douglas Elliman; and construction companies such as Lend Lease, Plaza & Turner Construction.  As a LEED Accredited Professional, his past works in Battery Park City have been recognized by AIA’s Committee on the Environment.

Prior to establishing dencityworks, Bhaskar was Design Principal at a renowned architecture practice, supporting the firm's growth to an award winning mid-sized architecture firm in New York City.  Previously, while at a leading architecture practice in New Delhi, Bhaskar was involved with the design and construction of AITA Tennis Stadium, a world class facility which hosted the Commonwealth Games.  A few years later followed by a shortlist & nomination for an Indoor Stadium in Qatar under his design direction. Bhaskar has traveled widely and worked as an architectural preservationist in restoring ancient Greek structures for the Museum of Tauric Chersonesos, an experience that was critical in the ongoing restoration & adaptive reuse of the last remaining Beaux Arts ferry terminal structure in Lower Manhattan.
